The Jam Event in Santa Barbara / by Jaime Holm

What happens when you challenge California’s best group of wedding vendors to pull out all the stops for an 80's themed showcase of their talents at one of the most unique venues  Santa Barbara? [And when we say unique we mean a venue complete with multiple green houses…. Gardens and even a psychedelic skate park….]

We’ll tell you what happens…. The party of the freakin’ century!! In case you miss it on our insta story... Last month Tinker Tin was lucky enough to be a part of the third annual Jam Event and wowwweeee!!! It was like nothing we’d ever seen before. It was like the olympics of California's wedding vendors and everyone involved that showcased their incredible talent were gold metal winners!

The Jam Event Santa Barbara

The event was produced by Jaime at Wild Heart Events and Sophie at Amazing Day Events. We cannot say enough about the incredible production these fabulous ladies brought everyone together for!The theme this year was the 80’s. If heaven has an 80's genre... We may have gotten an early sneak peak. And when we say heavenly we mean KFC themed gourmet eating, hair crimping bar, pink flamingos everywhere you look kinda heavenly.

We rolled in our mobile bar trailers, set up shop with Sidecar and served delicious cocktails and ice-cold beer all night while we partied the night away! Here are few of our favorite shots from the night!

1958 Roll-o-Vend Vintage Vending Trailer

We might be biased but we're pretty damn sure Sidecar is the best mobile bar service in California and the line of people waiting for cocktails all night proved it (we're also pretty sure cocktails taste better when served out of a vintage trailer)!

The Wedding Standard

Our incredibly talented friends from The Wedding Standard chose the theme Miami Vice & they nailed it!

Shout out to Lovelyfest Event Design for this GORGEOUS table-scape & Noonan's Wine Country Designs for the floral arrangements !

If there was an award for the most awkwardly dress group.... We for sure would have won it. But we L O V E our Sidecar-Tinker Tin team!!

We've never seen a skatepark look SO GLAM!! This was one of 5 different party rooms transformed into a clever/gorgeous/awesome/amazing setting!!
